A brief chat with a Yarmouthian

As we were charging our EV one Sunday morning in Yarmouth, a fit and dapper man about our age walked up with an inquisitive look on his face, enough for me to tell he was curious about our EV experience, just as several others have on our travels.

I mentioned how we had traveled in the EV without much of an issue all the way from New Jersey to Florida to Newfoundland and now in Nova Scotia. When Newfoundland came up, we both expressed our admiration for the wonderful people who live there. He casually then said this:

“There is another fine set of people I have met and that was during my time in the Middle East - young Indian engineers in my team. They were hard working and super smart - a reflection of your education system which is second to none”.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear this given all the badmouthing the system gets.
